Although this has been posted in our forums for a few days, it makes sense to post it on the main page too. Fans of JAG, Star Trek, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain and Batman Beyond will want to read through this article to get an idea of when they can expect those hotly anticipated shows finally on DVD.Right this way…. First off, JAG fans who have been waiting and waiting for a DVD release of their show ever since a legal entanglement based on the current syndication TV deal was signed, finally have some hope.
Paramount’s private media website has just upped a folder entitled JAG – Season 1. It’s not much, but 9 times outta 10 when they do this, an announcement about a future title is forthcoming.Besides, who wouldn’t like to see Catherine Bell on DVD?Second, along those same lines Paramount has also included a folder called ST: Animated Series. Star Trek anyone? Finally, WB animation fans are sure to go bonkers over Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain which are supposedly coming to DVD late July of 2006. They will drop in volume sets, done in production order ala Batman: The Animated Series. Speaking of Batman, expect Batman: Beyond volume sets done in order of production around the same time.
