Japan was reduced to zero by war. Godzilla pushed it into the negative. Now, in 1949, after two years of painful rebuilding, the country is finally beginning to reclaim a sense of normalcy. Families are healing, communities are rebuilding, and hope is cautiously returning.

That fragile peace doesn’t last.

When a new threat erupts without warning, the Shikishima family — still haunted by the events of Godzilla Minus One — is thrust back into chaos. As the nation faces yet another unimaginable calamity, survival becomes a desperate fight, and the question looms: how many times can a country rise from the ashes before it breaks for good?
