Fifty Years After Blade Runner 2049
Set half a century after the events of Blade Runner 2049, the series returns to a Los Angeles that has been reborn—but not necessarily for the benefit of humanity.
The story follows Cora, a fugitive who has spent her life running and is now desperate for a way out. For one final chance at freedom, she assumes a new identity as a Blade Runner.
Her mission forces her to work alongside Olwen, a Replicant who is nearing the end of her life. Together, they pursue a runaway whose secrets could threaten the future of their already fragile city.
With questions of identity, humanity and artificial life at the heart of the franchise, Blade Runner 2099 continues to explore what it means to be human in a world where the distinction is increasingly difficult to define.
