Collectors, prepare your wallets! Vinegar Syndrome’s Black Friday 2026 Flash Pre-Order event is almost here, bringing a wave of new physical-media releases, major 4K UHD debuts, limited-time bundle deals, and plenty of surprises for fans of cult and genre cinema.
The Flash Pre-Order runs from Sunday, November 1, at 12:01 a.m. ET, through Wednesday, November 4, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Vinegar Syndrome promises that this year’s lineup is substantial enough that some announcements are being saved for the Black Friday sale itself.
Major 4K UHD Debuts and Mystery Releases
The event kicks off with the reveal of the next VSU release, described as a major UHD debut and a first for the label. Fans can also expect two new Vinegar Syndrome releases, both making their 4K UHD debuts, with one teasing a particularly familiar sense of déjà vu. The company will also unveil its next Pink Line release.
Rather than reveal everything during the initial announcement, Vinegar Syndrome is holding back a significant portion of the lineup. A total of seven Vinegar Syndrome website releases and two Mélusine website releases will remain secret until the Black Friday sale.
The surprises won’t stop there. The company is teasing a slate of secret releases that includes a major UHD debut and a horror-themed box set, alongside a new VSA release, a mysterious VSL title, another Reviver release, a gritty Cinématographe offering, and the return of one of Vinegar Syndrome’s founding principles.
Mélusine will also have its share of surprises, with new releases from Mitchell Bros. Film Group and Peekarama among the anticipated offerings.
Exclusive Pre-Order Packages Offer the Biggest Savings
The Flash Pre-Order is more than an early look at the upcoming releases. It is also the only opportunity to purchase several heavily discounted packages, including the Absolutely Everything, All VS, and Secret VS Releases Packages.
For the first time, Vinegar Syndrome subscribers will also have access to a special Completionist Package. This subscriber-exclusive bundle brings together all discounted VS sub-label Black Friday releases at a price even lower than the standard 50%-off-suggested-retail-price subscriber rate.
Subscribers who purchase the Completionist Package will also receive a special surprise before the Black Friday sale. The package is available only to subscribers who are logged into their accounts on the Vinegar Syndrome website.
These discounted packages disappear when the Flash Pre-Order closes on November 4. After that, the announced titles will remain available as individual pre-orders at slightly higher prices, while the special bundles will not return.
27 Partner Label Pre-Orders Also Arrive November 1
Alongside the main Vinegar Syndrome announcements, 27 new Partner Label pre-orders will become available when the Flash Pre-Order opens on November 1. The company promises a selection featuring notable releases and major debuts.
Collectors can also look forward to variant slipcovers and new merchandise during the main Black Friday event.
